IN POLITICS :

On thursday, 6 February 2025. President Cyril Ramaphosa held his 2025 STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS, at the Cape Town City Hall and in his speech he made remarks on US President, Donald Trump's tweet on X saying, " But we are not daunted. We will not be deterred. We are resilient people. We will not be bullied. We will stand together as a united nation and we will speak with one voice in defence of our national interest, our sovereignty and our constitutional democracy,"

Meanwhile a TWAR(Twitter War) brews on X between South African born billionaire, Elon Musk and EFF(Economic Freedom Fighters) President, Julius Malema. Musk calls for Malema to be declared as an International Criminal through a sanction, and this is because of Malema's singing of an anti-apartheid song "KILL THE BOER".

"The EFF takes this opportunity to tell Elon Musk and all of his allies, in the USA, in Israel  and the right wing groups in South Africa which have mobilized Musk, to collectively go to hell.", reads a Statement issued by the EFF.

United State President, Donald Trump has cut all US funding to South Africa because of the Expropriation Bill passed by Ramaphosa this year. Trump believes that this bill is a crime against humanity and is accusing Ramaphosa of endorsing White Genocide.

And last but not least, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has resigned from the EFF as a member. In his SABC Exclusive interview with Mzwandile Mbeje, Ndlozi said that he has handed his resignation as a member of the EFF and will not be partaking in any political party involvement. Ndlozi also spoke on focusing on academia and mentioned that he believes that he has done his part in the South African political landscape and that he will see where the future leads him to with regards to politics.
