  • ELECTRICITY | City Power says it will appeal a court order compelling it to pay over R1 billion debt to Eskom. The court ruled that the utility should pay Eskom the money, plus interest on its outstanding electricity account by Friday.  




  • TSAKANE MALL | There's a new crime of money scamming. People use fake money to lure people in and then steal their phones and other possessions. This is confirmed by a young lady who got scammed and had her phone stolen. Residents are urged to be on the lookout and stay safe. 



  • WATER CRISIS IN SA | Gauteng could go without water for quite sometime. Water expert, Anthony Turton gives a warning to Gauteng residents via eNCA that, if Gauteng citizens do not cut back on their consumption and municipalities fail to fix leaking infrastructure, then the province could end up facing a day zero in the future. 


  • TSAKANE EXT 8 | The Tsakane Ext 8 Patrol team faces charges for beating up a young man who was found with stolen goods in his possession. Young man denies knowledge of the goods and seeks justice. 


  • MALEMA GUN CASE | EFF leader Julius Malema appeared for trial on Tuesday before the East London Magistrate's court. Malema and his co-accused, bodyguard Adriaan Snyman are charged of discharging a firearm on the EFF's 5th birthday celebration at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane in 2018.

Each year the school gets it's new trend with a story of a learner that has either committed suicide, abused or died suspiciously. Even though there is that, parents do not cease to register their children to this school even with it's numerous scandals and the image that it now holds.
